No Text We're delighted to announce that Neil Powell's Was and Is: Collected Poems has been shortlisted for the 2017 East Anglian Book Awards!

The East Anglian Book Awards, the region’s longest-running showcase for great writing, is organised by the Eastern Daily Press, Jarrold, and Writers’ Centre Norwich in association with the UEA.

There are 18 shortlisted titles across six subject categories bidding for the overall top £1000 prize for East Anglian Book of the Year, courtesy of the PACCAR Foundation.

Joining Neil in the poetry category is Richard Lambert's The Nameless Places (Arc), and The Straight Man by Sarah Roby (Templar Poetry).

The category winners and the overall winner will be announced at a special awards Literary Lunch event on Friday November 24, which will feature a brilliant line-up of best-selling authors Elly Griffiths, Sarah Perry, Rory Clements and Raffaella Barker talking about their work.

Congratulations Neil!
