Edgar Allan Poe Film starring John Cusack, out this Friday

The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe A major Hollywood film will be released this Friday 9 March, taking inspiration from the imagination of Edgar Allan Poe. Raven is a fictionalized account of the last days of the writer, played by John Cusack. In the film, Allan Poe is in pursuit of a serial killer who is committing murders that are straight out of Poe's own stories. Click here to learn more about Allan Poe and watch the trailer.

Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven: Poems and Essays on Poetry is published by Carcanet, including his poem 'The Raven'. Although he experienced a mixed reception from his contemporaries in Britain and America, Poe was revered in France. C. H.
