PHILIP W. ERRINGTON is an antiquarian book expert at Peter Harrington in London. A graduate of the University of London, he read for hisBA, MA and PhD at University College. He has edited and introduced works by Masefield for Carcanet, Penguin Classics, Pen and Sword, Egmont and The Folio Society. He has published two bibliographies: John Masefield, The 'Great Auk' of English Literature (British Library, 2004) and J.K. Rowling(Bloomsbury, 2015, revised 2017). He was appointed editor of The Journal of the John Masefield Society in 1997 and is also an honorary research associate within the Department of English at UCL.
