Prize-winning poet, prose writer and Neu! Reekie! founder, Michael Pedersen brings us The Poetry Jamboree at Borders Book Festival.

He'll be reading from his books Oyster (Polygon) and Boy Friends (Faber & Faber) and presenting two of his favourite poetry bedfellows. These being: Scottish/Algerian writer Janette Ayachi, whose collection Hand Over Mouth Music (Pavilion Poetry) was named The Saltire Society Poetry Book of the Year 2019 plus widely celebrated Carcanet poet, William Letford, whose collections Bevel and Dirt have both won rave reviews. Find herein: vim, verve and verse that will sink into your bones, tickle the tender bits, and ruffle the feathers of any low flying birds.
