Billy Letford: StAnza Festival

Thursday 10 Mar 2022, 10:00 to 11:00

Holy Trinity Church - Nave
South Street
St Andrews
KY16 9NL

Almost a contradiction in terms (poems are verse, and novels are prose, no?) ... this morning's reading will present work from two contrasting approaches to the hybrid form of the verse novel. Billy Letford will read from his work-in-progress, written in hybrid prose / poetry diary form, about a working-class family using a forest garden to survive in a dystopian future. Sarah Corbett will read from her verse novel And She Was, in which Sarah explores how far she can push narrative in the service of lyric, and lyric in the service of narrative.

This ticket is for the live event in St Andrews.

Tickets for this event are  £7 / £5 / £3 - find out more and buy them here.
