Jorie Graham is the author of eleven collections of poetry, including The Dream of the Unified Field, which won the Pulitzer Prize in 1996. Her most recent collection is Sea Change (Carcanet, 2008). Born in New York in 1951, Graham grew up in France and Italy and was educated at the Sorbonne, New York University and the University of Iowa. A former director of the renowned Writers' Workshop at the University of Iowa, she now divides her time between western France and Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she teaches poetry at Harvard University.
