Description:

Born in Belfast, Rory Waterman’s debut collection Tonight the Summer’s Over (Carcanet, 2013) was a Poetry Book Society recommendation and shortlisted for the Heaney Prize. His second full-length collection is Sarajevo Roses (Carcanet, 2017) and he has published two pamphlets including Brexit Day on the Balmoral Estate (Rack Press, 2017).

Rory is a Senior Lecturer in English at Nottingham Trent University and he writes critical prose for various publications, most frequently the Times Literary Supplement. He co-runs the poetry pamphlet publisher (and former literary magazine) New Walk.
