  • Alex Wylie was born in Blackpool in 1980 and grew up on Lancashire’s Fylde coast. In 2008 he gained a doctorate from Queen's University Belfast, writing a thesis on T.S. Eliot and Geoffrey Hill, and currently teaches at the School of English there.
