Judith Willson: StAnza Festival

Thursday 10 Mar 2022, 10:00 to 12:00

Wardlaw Museum
7a The Scores
St Andrews

What stories do we tell about the past, and how do we tell them? This workshop is an invitation to explore creative ways of reading and writing the past. We will think about history as a haunting: elusive, unstable and insistently present, but also about erasure and forgetting. Using historical documents, images and artefacts as starting points, we will consider their silences as spaces where imagination can work, remaking stories in new shapes and forms. With Judith Willson, whose latest Carcanet collection is Fleet.

Live in St Andrews.

Tickets are £15 / £10 / £6 - find out more and buy them here.
