Theo Kwek: StAnza Festival

Monday 7 Mar 2022, 17:30 to 18:00

In our second instalment of the most eco-friendly of Round-the-World poetry tickets, StAnza touches base in Asia for readings from Singapore and Japan, with two poets known for their keen observations and insights into human life. Japanese poet Takako Arai will share tales of the female workers in her father's factory whom she watched while growing up - delivered in her inimitably electric style. Theophilus Kwek will read new poems that deal with urban displacement and relocation, exploring the stories of those who have been made to move between neighbourhoods and localities, and enquiring into how at home we really are in the space of the city.

Pre-recorded event, available on the StAnza website and on our YouTube channel.

Tickets are £3 and can be bought here.
