Oli Hazzard: StAnza Festival

Saturday 7 Mar 2020, 11:30 to 12:30

St John's House
South Street
St Andrews
KY16 9QW

In this Border Crossings reading enjoy the immersive imagery of two award-winning British poets. Eleanor Rees saw her first full length collection, Andraste's Hair (Salt, 2007), shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection, as well as the Glen Dimplex New Writers' Award. Having recently published her fourth collection, her work shows a sense of comforting grace that explores its subject with clarity, purpose and honesty.

Reading with her will be Oli Hazzard, whose first collection of poems, Between Two Windows (Carcanet, 2012) won several awards including the Michael Murphy Memorial Prize, and an Eric Gregory Award. Oli's poetry has a sense of playful yet careful investigation of both subject and poetic structure. Come enjoy an afternoon of poetic exploration in the safe hands of these striking poets.

Tickets are £4.50/£3.50 and can be bought via the festival website.
