Launch of Love's Cold Returning: John Clare's 1841 Odyssey from Essex to Northamptonshire by Ellis Hall and Bridget Somekh

 An introduction and welcome by John Gallas will outline the scope of the book:  'An exploration in verse, prose and images of the world of John Clare's epic journey then and now. Maps by Jon Harris; illustrated by Pam Smy. Over 400 pages with 220 illustrations' maps, drawings and coloured photographs.

Bridget Somekh and Ellis Hall will read from their poetry and prose about John Clare and invite discussion and readings from Clare's poetry. John Gallas will read his three recent poems about John Clare.
