Description:

The Republic of Consciousness Prize rewards small independent presses who publish challenging and experimental work and recognise that a book is a collaborative process. This panel will shed light on the way writers and publishers work together to create a book.

In this special event, Carcanet Publisher Michael Schmidt and poet and Anglican priest Rachel Mann will discuss the relationship between writer and publisher. Rachel will read from her new collection, A Kingdom of Love

Eley Williams won the 2018 Republic of Consciousness Prize with Attrib. and Other Stories (Influx Press). Eley will join the panel to read from her work and discuss her writing and publishing experiences.   

Chaired by Sophie O'Neill, Inpress.
