Jeffrey Wainwright completes the Great North Swim Carcanet poet Jeffrey Wainwright has completed the Great North Swim! He swam the mile around Lake Windermere in an impressive 38 minutes 27 seconds, raising over £1,600 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. You can sponsor him by visiting his JustGiving page.
