ANGELA VON DER LIPPE holds a bachelor's degree from Sarah Lawrence College and a doctorate in German literature from Brown University. She has worked as an editor at Harvard University Press and is currently a senior editor at W.W. Norton in New York. As a poet, she maintains a lifelong interest in translation.
