  • Karen Leeder is a Fellow and Tutor in German at New College Oxford. She has published and translated widely in modern German literature, including the poetry of Bertolt Brecht, Michael Krüger, Brigitte Oleschinski and Raoul Schrott. Her translations of Evelyn Schlag's Selected Poems, published by Carcanet in 2004, won the 2005 Schlegel-Tieck Prize for Translation from German.
